Kathy is tied up and squirming in her canvas lounge chair. Don’t worry, I’ll untie her and give her a nice Bloody Mary as soon as I’ve posted this. Oh, she overheard that and has calmed down. You can almost always gain her cooperation with a nice Bloody Mary – you know, the kind with two big fat olives in them.
Anyway… not only have my adventures continued with the publishing of the sequel (FINALLY) but her head is filling up with ideas for the next one, which she promises me will only take a few months this time. Do you know how hard it is for a character to remain in suspended animation for a whole year? Lordy, if it hadn’t been for this blog, I would have lost my mind.
Even though I knew where I was going in this book, it doesn’t really take place until the book is published, so right after I post this, I’m leaving on the cruise. My packing’s all done, and soon I’ll pop back into the novel and be on my way.
Wish me a good time! I’ll be back in time for next weekend’s post.
Kathy’s getting a little restless again, so I’ll just publish this and set her up with a Bloody Mary and her Kindle. She’ll be just fine. Really.
Bye for now!
Red, have oddles of fun on your cruise, they feed you twenty four /seven on those things.
ReplyDeleteLet Kathy have her keyboard back..... or you won't get you new story.
She did let me go! And she gave me the promised Bloody Mary. Man, can she get pushy!
DeleteHope you enjoy the great food and booze on your cruise Red.
ReplyDeleteYou better untie Kathy and give her a friendtini to calm her down!!
She's gone now, cruising to Mexico. She did give me the Bloody Mary, with 3 big olives, so all is forgiven.
DeleteGosh Kathy, Red can be a little "out there" can't she, LOL!!!! Glad she untied you and gave you a great Bloody before heading out on her cruise. Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday now that you are untied!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Ardee-ann
She can be a handful, Ardee-Ann! I'm happy she's on a cruise for the next few days. It'll take the edge off, if you know what I mean. She was getting pretty cranky about her sequel!
ReplyDeleteCranky characters? Oh my! A cruise should be just what she needs. Hope she is easier to work with upon her return.
ReplyDelete;)
Well, it IS my fault that she got cranky. After all, a whole year! Some of my compadres are cranking out sequels in a month or two. But I'm sure she'll be quite happy after the cruise (who wouldn't be?)
DeleteI can't wait to read more of Red's adventures! Congrats, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dannie!
